A full, soaring arc, higher than any proper bronco has business attempting. His hooves leave the earth like wings might have unfurled in secret, launching them through the air in a glittering blur. Her trail of snowflakes spins behind them like the tail of a comet, catching the light in a shimmer that makes gasps rise from the stands.
They don’t fly, not truly, but it feels like they do.
