Thalassa
Too intoxicated to be scared
Thal was never a patient person, and she could only take so many insults before the anger overcame any fun she'd thought was possible. First he'd rejected her advances, then he'd tried to lie to her face, and now he wouldn't even answer the simplest of questions after she'd been so honest with him. Why was she even here?
Frustration flared in her chest, hot and smothering enough to blot out the playfulness on her lips. Like smoke curling over her features, they slipped seamlessly into an expression of profound disappointment that bordered on disgust. Even her relaxed posture shifted, a sharp gracefulness as she split through the water to approach the edge. "You're no fun at all. I should've picked someone else." Maybe they wouldn't have been such a buzzkill.
She pressed her hands to the side, lifting herself out without even sparing Liam a glance. "Let me know when you figure things out." Like who Maea was, what he wanted, and why he should have listened to her more. Thal moved to gather her clothes, her tail flicking with the obvious annoyance.
