Remi saunters back toward the stands, brushing sand from his hands, curls wind-tossed and grin far too pleased with itself for someone who'd nearly just sent his friend halfway to Mort’s doorstep. Spotting Ronin from across the way, he takes his time closing the distance. The moment he’s within reach, he slides in behind his husband, smooth as anything, and slips a hand into Ronin’s back pocket with the sort of ease that says this is mine and I dare you to say otherwise.
"Maea lasted one whole second," he murmurs, lips brushing just behind Ronin’s ear before drifting in to press a kiss to his temple. "I do think I was fairly gentle, though." Then again, what counted as 'gentle' for a demigod was up for debate, especially when the Bastion wasn't used to being ridden by anyone other than his husband.
He lets his fingers trail idly along the seam of Ronin’s jeans before glancing toward the dragoon nearby, his sea-glass eyes twinkling with curiosity. "So," he drawls softly, "how’d you manage with your rider?"
