With tracks identified and a steaming pile of manure indicating that the herd was most likely nearby, Alys was about to call out to the group when a horse's scream rent the air around her. She jumped, turning to find a black stallion where Vesper had been a mere moment before. Well, that was one way to draw the herd's attention, she supposed, although she was more likely to have suggested sneaking up on them.
The seer hurriedly made her way back to the group, checking her weapons as she went. As she neared them all, she could feel the steely resolve that settled over each of her comrades, mirroring that which she herself felt as she turned towards the thundering of distant hooves. Calling upon her magic, she conjured a complex illusion to make anyone near her invisible. Perhaps doing so would give their group the element of surprise against the void creatures galloping their way.
