Elizabeth's answer was vague enough that Alys glanced her way, pausing as she waded through the shallows to consider her friend thoughtfully. Her voice gave nothing away, but her emotions were another matter - there was a wistfulness there that Alys couldn't remember having sensed before, as though perhaps Elizabeth felt that she was missing something, somehow. Still, she couldn't force her friend to share more, and the conversation quickly turned back to Alys. It seemed that the therapist was more comfortable drawing out Alys's feeilngs than discussing her own.
"I'm alright," she said, turning her gaze back to the water and continuing on in search of the elusive lilies. "I... haven't seen Tal since the party," she admitted quietly, pain evident in the way her mouth turned down at the edges. "But Sunjata asked me to be King's End's Seer, so I'm finding ways to fill the time. When I'm not hunting flowers, anyway." As always in life, there was good and bad to be found.
