Zavien did his best to smile at the laughter, trying to lighten some of the dread pressing against him. It wasn't that he didn't believe Liam, but he wondered if they had the same definition of 'fine.' He got the sinking feeling that they didn't.
Doing his best to act natural, he ran a hand through his hair, the ring nearly catching on the strands. "I'm good. Just trying to put up some defenses for the town - a little thank you for their hospitality." Since the Family had made it impossible for them to live in Stormbreak any longer; but he kept that part to himself, offering a quiet smile that he hoped hid the discomfort. "Do you want to give me a hand? There are quite a few boxes, and the fences would be easier to put up with two people."
