Groaning something that sits firmly between protest and acceptance as Remi shifts against him, Ronin is still caught very much in the raw overstimulation of his body, every synapse firing like sap popping in a fire, every hard breath feeling well-earned. But his arms do encircle his husband as he starts to sit back on his knees, the Bastion clutched against him like something sacred or divine, and as blind fingers caress the tine of one antler, he huffs out a sharp breath and nestles his face into the crook of Remi's shoulder.
"I love you too," Ronin whispers in reply, the words muffled and low and exhausted, his fingers smoothing reverently across the other man's body as if to ensure he hasn't accidentally left any lasting damage. (Not that their interpretation of lasting is an accurate one by any means).
"You're alright?" He kisses the question in slow passes against the column of Remi's neck, still breathless, his heart still hammering a drumbeat against the Bastion.
