Remi sighs softly as he lets his wings dissolve back into nothing, shrugging them away with a lazy flick of intent so he can better feel the full press of Ronin behind him. The warmth, the solid weight, the steady pulse that thrums against his spine is it’s addictive. He leans back with slow purpose, winding his arms over Ronin’s like a lock twisting home, then tilts his head so his curls brush his husband’s jaw, cheek angled to rest just beneath his.

"Better than alright," he murmurs, voice still rough around the edges, golden and threadbare from everything they’ve just torn through together. His knees and palms sting faintly, but it’s a distant thing; background noise against the glow still radiating in his chest. Any marks left behind are earned, worth it, wanted. "For you?" Remi adds, lips brushing Ronin’s cheekbone as his grin crooks sly and tired and utterly in love. "There’s not a patch of skin I wouldn’t trade for a moment like that."

Silence laps softly at the cavern’s edge, and with a hum that curls low in his throat, he gestures vaguely toward the walls with a flick of his fingers. "You know..Starfall isn’t so bad after all." Twisting slightly in his husband's arms, Remi angles a look up at him, eyes dancing now with mischief. "We should tell everyone it's still wildly overrun so that we can have it to ourselves."
