Steel eyes watch the cucumber waggle toward him, Frey’s expression one that equally sends heat through him as well as amusement, enough that the Flood hums a low rumble of a sound to feel the touch reflected on his side and knowing full well that while he’s experienced Frey time and time again, that Colt hasn’t. He doesn’t miss the sound that passes her lips, though she needn’t be so upset about it.
All he can do is nod, still choosing to remain silent while Colt gets her quest, and with the warm departure of his deity he offers a quiet and parting “I’ll see you soon.” Because with his quest nearly finished at this point, he’s more than ready to return, having picked the beginning of the season to venture back out here.
But it’s Colt’s fire that lances him next, turning toward her with a flush that trails around his neck and buries deep under his tattoos. “Peppermint?” He asks, waggling his brows, poking the bear a touch more as he catches up to her and the puppy as she stares daggers at him. “I’m afraid I can’t do that. I stopped wearing cologne when I became Theirs.” Nodding back toward the shrine, he lets her put the pieces together if she isn’t too pissed off by his comment to do so.
With the way Frey can shift and adjust to mirror the visitors desires, would it not be so surprising that Sunjata’s scent did the same? Food for thought, huh Colt?
