Sohalia Lumaris
As Kaisel set fire to his paper, Soh followed suit, flicking hers into the flames to watch it burn. As paper gave way to ash, the Luminary focused on what she'd written, on how grateful she was for things to be relatively safe in Caido again, on the many ways she hoped to help things rebuild. And when the last of the ashes sank into the depths of the flames, she pulled another sheet of paper towards her and poised her pen over it.
But she paused as Kai's concerns came to light, shooting the young man a sidelong glance as though sizing him up, trying to determine if he knew that he was a part of what Flora was going through right now. Dahlia's attack had been unexpected and terrifying, but unsurprising to hear about. Jack had always been an ass, so that didn't much shock Soh, either. But sleeping with Kai? And the emotions that it had stirred up? That had been... unexpected.
But Flora was her best friend, and Soh knew better than to get in the middle of a love triangle. So she turned her attention back to the paper and pen and fire, scribbling out another note before she spoke again. "I'm worried about her, too," she admitted softly. And what was worse, Soh didn't know how to help her friend. With the Family gone and Stormbreak to retake, she had to leave Torchline.
She just hoped she wasn't going to hurt Flora in the process. No matter how much the queen would understand, that didn't erase the emotion of it all. Soh tossed the next bit of paper into the fire. I'm thankful for Flora, and I pray for her healing - not just the physical, but everything else, too. "All I know to do is be patient and be there for her, you know?"
