The pair set off along with the other booth workers, hired hands, and cowboys not too stiff or drunk from the day's events. Together, enough progress is certainly made to leave a dent in all the chores, though the morning light will make them all the more obvious, and all the less appealing after the laughter has been slept off and the weariness has had time to sink in. It's usually why Colt prefers not to sit down and rest, if it can be helped, until the work is done. Makes it that much harder to get back up again and convince yourself to do it.

It's not enough work to keep Alys, so Colt sees her out with a wave of her hand once she's put all her shit down. In so doing, she leans back into a spine-cracking stretch, groaning out a complaint as she glances about for Thorn.
"C'mon, let's call it a night," she says as she finds him among the garbage stacks, linking arms with him and tugging him towards her house for a final drink to end the day.
