Dygra
The flames in the sconces flicker low and shadowed, before bursting into blinding heat and illumination with a soft roar. Astaroth's blood spiders out across the obsidian slab of its own accord, seeking cracks and patterns with no order, no rhyme or reason, and though the world will be difficult for the butcher this season, here in the presence of his goddess, he will feel good. He'll feel right. A deep warmth will flood his bones, easing the tension in his muscles and allowing him to relax as much as he wishes.

"My gentleman butcher," Dygra purrs, her voice suffusing the shrine, phantom hands ghosting along the back of Asta's shoulders. The lace flutters against the obsidian. "How fitting that you of all people would wish to take something not of this world and make it yours." Her laughter is pleased and sultry, and for just a moment he'll feel the weight of his horns as if they are as large and impressive as his haunt makes them, before it's gone once more.

"Certainly we can. But you will need to become used to the possibility of chaos in your every blow. I trust you are up to the challenge."

Asta has received a quest! He must:

1. Complete a thread spilling enough of his own blood to soak the villi lace with it.
2. Complete a thread striking/hitting someone important to him without pulling his punches.
3. Complete a thread blindfolded, embracing the chaos of not knowing what might happen next.
4. Complete a thread fighting and slaying a Cockatrice in King's End.

Cockatrice (uncommon/mythical) - The cockatrice looks like a hideous hybrid of lizard, bird, and bat, and it is infamous for its ability to turn flesh to stone. These omnivores have a diet that consists of berries, nuts, flowers, and small animals such as insects, mice, and frogs—things they can swallow whole. They would be no threat to anything else if not for their fierce and frenzied response to even a hint of danger. A cockatrice flies into the face of any threat, squawking and madly beating its wings as its head darts out to peck. The smallest scratch from a cockatrice's beak can spell doom as its victim slowly turns to stone from the injury.
