They say I'm a dangerous man, better run fast as you can
“So I have.” Astaroth touts proudly, even if the fact of it wasn’t one to really be proud of. But he was still standing, still breathing, and he’d made it through whatever strange events his life had set upon him. All for the better, as far as he’s concerned, because he gets to sit here right now with his arm wound around the one man that truly understood each dark and devious corner of his heart and mind, whether he’d wanted to or not.
As for the spiders, though, the smile he flashes Danta’s way is sharp with a hint of how feral he is beneath the pleasantries. But he subdues it, because as they start to walk and the warmth of Danta’s hand in his pack pocket spreads through him, he loosens up easier without having all of the eyes on their Theocrat as they enter the tavern. Immediately spotting the booth as it’s suggested, the butcher nods his head. “That sounds perfect. Scandal included.” He winks back toward him, his smile still lingering as he drifts toward the booth in question.
Ever the gentleman as he lets Danta slide in first, he follows suit, sinking into the comfortable cushions, and when he’s satisfied no arachnids will show to ruin his day, he slips his arm around Danta’s shoulders and finally starts to relax a little, one of his legs pressed up against Danta’s own as he scans the menu in his other hand. “What are you thinking? Echo shark once more orrrr… It appears they also have a vampire gourd soup.” His head tilts opposite of where Danta is, so he doesn’t run the risk of snagging him with his horns.
