Darting off to a nearby storage shed, she returned a few moments later and handed her the pads. "Let's take turns - I'll punch at the pads, and you hold them steady. Don't try to push back, or you'll hurt yourself." Ensuring Noe held the pads properly, she took up a stance and raised the padded gloves up in a guard position. "Ready?"
She began slowly, counting to three as she aimed left, right, left hand at the pads. If it looked like Noe was keeping up, they could speed up.
