"Do you think he will be mad?" Margot asked, lifting her chocolate eyes from the paper. She hadn’t been writing for quite some time, consumed by the thoughts of what her and her twin had talked about late into the night. The thoughts swirled and churned and she could not focus on the assignment their grandmother had given them. She bit the inside of her lip as she waited for him to stop writing and look up at her. It felt like an eternity before her twin’s eyes finally met hers. When they did, she felt an uneasy flip in her stomach that she couldn't stop. She bit the inside of her lip again.
