Margot kicked at the snow-crusted logs as she stacked them. "Well,” Margot said, shoving a log into place, “what if you are Attuned?” She glanced sideways at her twin. “What if it’s something soft? Or weird. What if you're some bird that flies away instead of staying?” Her voice cracked, and she hated it. She hadn't made the same decision as Marcus had, and she wasn't sure how she felt about that. But she was sure of this -- she didn't want her brother to leave her. She paused, standing there with her fingers aching from the cold and the work, waiting for Marcus to asnwer her.
