NIKI
When Niki had seen the request for help and had spotted Maea's name, he'd not at all been adverse to joining. Longheat had given way to some pleasant and breezy Leafchange weather, and he'd been getting increasingly used to stepping outside his comfort zone. And so at the appointed day and time, he arrives at the foot of the Guardian's Treehouse, which is about when he starts to have to damage control his expectations. He had not been expecting a treehouse, which could well necessitate climbing - something he's remarkably unsuited for.
Still, he does his best and flashes a polite smile to Maea as he approaches the bottom steps, leaning gently against his cane. "Hello," he greets. "You were looking for some help with renovations? I confess I am better suited to designing, but I will be more than happy to assist wherever I can."
