The sorts of things he studies have a tendency to try to get out if he doesn't keep them behind a locked door, you see. "You just name the time and the place, and I wiill be there."
Privately very relieved that Theea doesn't push the point of his brief discomfort, instead the botanist steps around to help snip a short opening in the back of the dress where she will be able to stitch in some buttons or a clasp; either way, it will allow her to step out of it and be able to look at it properly to begin sewing. "And I can certainly get used to being yours," he agrees, offering a hand to help her out of the soon-to-be outfit.
"As am I. And hey, when you get to Ludo's masquerade, do not do anything that I would not do," he reminds her with a fiendish wink. That leaves her with a very short list of don'ts, granted, but Theea has probably figured that much out already.
