Charlie beams up at him, her smile all sharp white teeth wrapped in sunshine, and as his hand loops over her shoulder she snakes an arm comfortably around his waist in return. The affection is easy, unthinking, as most things are with Charlie. At the mention of conversion, her blue eyes flash with delight, the spark of someone who has waited ages for someone to get it.
"Ancients can do so much cool stuff," she gushes, her voice rising with playful insistence. "Not just fire and darting around and being dragons. We’ve got tricks you can’t even imagine! And Dygra—" her grin grows sharper, reverent beneath all the glitter— "Dygra isn’t like the others. She’s as old as Caido itself, and she doesn’t waste time with all the petty squabbles the rest of them fuss about. No nonsense, no games. Just change, chaos, passion. The things that actually matter."
At the mention of scaring someone, Charlie’s grin twists mischievously, bright as the flick of a match. "Oh, absolutely. Tell me when and where! I can hang out in your pocket until you're ready, OR you could pretend to dramatically slay me."
Back in her room, still happily naked as though modesty was an idea that had never occurred to her, Charlie flops down on the massive bed with a sigh of comfort. She stretches out across the red sheets, her tail curling lazily like a banner of victory. "It’s late," she sings, glancing over at him with an exaggerated pout of mock weariness. "You could stay the night if you want. One of my shifts is the best for cuddling."
