Her head tilts up with a humph that says she knows it was well played and she still hasn't forgiven him for messing with her hair. She fixes the last strand (that she can tell), then lets her ice melt into the grass beneath and pouts up at Vesper's smug face. Nova reels, offense making her nose scrunch. "IF?! There's no doubt!"
Then he's darting and blinking around the clearing like a tall flickering strobe light that emits darkness and annoying brotherly attitude; and she can't resist the chase.
She's spinning and twirling as she tries to pin him down with her fire, resisting the urge to jut freeze him again and doing her best to focus on the competitiveness instead of the frustration. With each movement she can feel the magic answering faster, the blur of her brother immediately sparking flames that lick forward to reach him, but she can't quite land it. The gap of her missed shots slowly begins to close and Nova relaxes the control, unleashing her instincts that have never failed her.
