Deimos
While Deimos was well versed in large gatherings and masses to assist in various tasks, he hadn’t anticipated this assemblage of people – including what appeared to be Marcus, much older than he’d last seen, and in bird form over attuned bombardments. A whole host of contortions reeled through his mind, plausible effects of what might’ve happened or occurred with Noah’s son – perhaps aging by Frey, a sudden hybrid portion in turn – but rather than query here and now, he simply snorted, gave a small laugh under his breath. Nodding his head in greeting, he figured he’d catch the newfound hybrid later, or hear about it from his father at a future venture.
Hawthorn was a surprise as well – though he gave the same jutting of his head in acknowledgement, before they were given instructions. The notions and modicums made sense, and it’d be wise to have multiple places for people amidst portions of the Tundra to have a place to stay – though when his name was called initially, his brow arched, waiting for something massive or consuming. When it was simply felling trees, he grinned, tilting his head. “Sure.”
Once they all seemed to parse off into sections, the Warden roamed to the woods themselves. While he preferred finding logs already fallen, he could understand the nuances behind this particular gesture. Selecting several nearby, so they’d be easier to haul back, Belial and Zuriel gave their bonded space while he worked – clear and out of the way. Ensuring no one else seemed to be hastening nearby, he combined his incantations seamlessly and powerfully, using his Mastered Earth to sever, contort, and break the timber away from their base, while snagging at the Air too, ensuring the wood collapsed exactly where he wanted it.
