A long and slow cool inhale is taken before he bumps Damien’s shoulder with his own and glances back down to the notebook in his hand. “Should at least make repairs real easy, too. Don’t have all those twists ’n turns in it that really fuck with the structure.” Especially in Halo with the weight of all the snow that falls.
But then everyone’s gathering again and Thorn shifts his weight a little on his feet, looking to all of them as more tasks are given out. His attention turns back toward Damien when he feels the warmth that seeps in from the other man’s hand, immediately moving into motion as he follows him to the tools. “Easy.” Thorn hums with another grin, snagging the rulers and the markers, squinting at the blueprint he’s drawn up.
“Mmkay, so, we’re gonna have to account for some space for the logs to settle in against each other, so let’s make it longer on the ends so it won’t feel so cramped inside.” He starts off, picking a number that would eventually reveal the interior of the building to be about a medium sized building. And with that, the courtesan starts marking after giving the measurements to Damien to do the same.
Thorn picks the number best suited for the design he’s drawn up and tells Damien what it is and gets to marking and measuring!
