As for him getting away, he hums a little and ducks his chin. “Yeah. I was originally goin’ off for architecture to take over the family business. Explored some, hit Torchline, found out I was more interested in stories than buildin’. And here I am.” Jewelry glints at his fingertips as he makes a dramatic gesture to his torso, his smile brighter as he aims it her way. “So I’m sure y’can imagine how shitty that went over.” He tacks on with a playful knowing look now that the will o wisps are getting further from his recent memory.
Shifting his attention back toward the rest of the party, Thorn offers her an apologetic smile. "Well, I should get goin'. Was nice to chat with ya." And with that, Thorn downs the rest of his drink and lets it settle in his chest before he departs to join the rest of the crowds.
