There’s only a few tangles to find, easily smoothed out with the stroke of his lover’s hand.

“I could certainly indulge in a long nap.” he doesn’t even have to tack on the obvious so long as you’re there, because at this point he knows Danta’s not going anywhere. It can go unsaid. But it does take a few more moments of gentle affections before the butcher thinks he can hold Danta and trust himself enough to walk toward the den of their bed. And once he finally does, it’s with a quick sound of the sigh of fabric as he tucks the canopy a bit further to blot out some more of the light.

It takes him even less time to slip into the bed with Danta, to tangle up and offer gentler affections in the form of kisses and light touch, though he knows the Maverick is out within the first few minutes of it. Thankfully, it doesn’t take the butcher that much longer after to follow.
