and you'll wake up all alone, on an old beat-down dirt country road
and you'll crawl back through fire and snow
and you'll crawl back through fire and snow
Maybe it was the fact that the end of the season was upon them and Asta has not been able to handle himself as well as he had the rest of the season. It’s a mixture of burn out and not enough that thrums through him – such that it feels impossible to wera much of anything aside from the very loose and sheer billowy shirt that he’s somewhat confident is from Danta’s stash of not-clothes.
He's sat on their couch in their room, a shard of bone he’s been carving out with a sharp and small blade for details tries to help distract him from everything that seems to weigh on him but it’s doing a relatively terrible job at it. So his tail whips at the ashen tip, long legs crossed such that the shirt bunches in a bundle across his lap and a little bucket sits to catch the shards of bone. At present, he’s carving floral whirls in what appears to be a rather human-like rib bone. “I know I have asked already, but are you sure I cannot devour the cow man?” He asks, looking up from the bone across to Danta. The cow man in question is an attuned that tended to come into the Dusklight on a few occasions, acting much like a bull in a china shop and had the audacity to give longing looks toward Danta whenever he was behind the counter.
Which typically were things the butcher found amusing, but this season it had sparked all of the worst aspects of this season for him. And only seems to remind him of his never ending hatred of being haunted by a cowbell.
