"I couldn't honestly say - I don't think I dreamed at all while I was a lawn ornament," Danta confesses, brow furrowing as he tries and fails to recall the time. Chuckling and getting comfortable in the butcher's lap, he stretches his long legs out across the couch and slips an arm around the other man's shoulders, fingers finding their way back beneath the loose and billowing material of his shirt. "I would have loved to hear you shout at me about the cow man," he informs him with a fanged grin, leaning in to brush his nose across Asta's.
As to whether he would miss this version of the butcher, Danta takes a moment to gaze down at him, his free hand lifting to brush softly across the scruff of his jaw. "No," he decides softly. "I loved you just the way you were. This was a delightful change of pace, don't get me wrong, but if it's just a bit of seasonal madness, then I'll happily wave goodbye to it until next year."
