Flora tosses Niki an affectionate glance over her shoulder, grin tugging wide. "If you don’t make a habit out of it, how do you know it’s not something you’d like?" she teases, aqua eyes sparkling. "It’d be basically the same as what we’re doing right now—except instead of strolling, we’d be lounging in magical hot water. Tell me that doesn’t sound amazing."

Her voice slips into a purr as she draws out, "Oooooh, maybe," at the idea of picking up necromancy. "If I channel a spirit and ask it to inhabit something, does that count? Or is that cheating?" She laughs before he can answer, shoulders shaking as she adds, "Yeaaaah, well, Kaisel’s a real big baby when it comes to ghosts." The fondness in her tone makes it clear she means it more as a tease than anything cruel.

At the bench she sinks down with a dramatic sigh, folding one leg up so she can loop her arms around her shin, curls spilling forward as she tips her head back. Far too casually, as though the weight of the words doesn’t nearly pull the ground from under her, she glances his way. "Would you ever want to stay? Like...properly stay? Maybe...be on Torchline’s council?" The words tumble out before she can second-guess them, her throat tightening as she swallows. "Hadama just stepped down, so now it’s only me."
