The streaks of water were a given, considering the quest necessities at hand, but it didn’t mean Deimos intended to take every portion under its equal force. The leviathan scaled shape blended and lended itself to molding some of the hits in a far less cumbersome way – so when he permitted some of the element to slip by his own measures, purposeful and exact, they weren’t the biting, billowing, harsh force. There, but hardly the barbarity they were likely to have claimed, given Sunjata’s strength and demigod accords.
But then he turned it – summoning his own mastery of water to propel the motions back towards the Flood – combining and navigating Air incantations alongside so the wave of cascading dominion would encircle and encroach, purposefully intending to surround the Archon.
