JACK
Vesper pins, Nova plans and Caly organises, and whilst they get on with that Jack busies himself in the level above the hideout, speaking in low tones to the merchant. Their words are unclear, but Vesper at least will be able to catch the old rogue's thoughts, and he's very pleased with his cut and with the way things are hopefully going to progress now that his ample supply space is becoming something more useful.
"A fireplace in a barge?" The captain raises his eyebrows as he comes back to join them, blue eyes flicking around the space with quiet satisfaction. His lack of criticism is the equivalent to high praise, as some of the Marins might have already noticed, and he heads to the table to hear out Nova's ideas.
And finds himself surprised at how impressed he is. "So that's invisible ink, a weapons cache and hidden shelves. Noted. I'll leave the decor up to you," he mutters, stepping across to one of the leftover crates and pulling something out; a sleek, silver-grey length of silk, strong and shimmering in the dim light.
"Here." He hands it to Nova. "Go up and tie this to the lantern out front of the stall." It's a subtle way for any potential clientele to know exactly which stall to approach if they are in need of Jack's new set of services.
As for the others? He steps up to the map wall and nods towards it. "Any of 'em strike your fancy? King's End is already a given, but any other places you might wanna prowl around an' dig out anythin' interestin'?"
Last round!
Jack instructs Nova to go and deal with the silk ribbon that will become the guild's new calling card.
In the meantime, he asks Vesp and Caly if there are any regions they'd want to start focusing the guild's efforts on.
