Zavien
I'm going to change the world,
Had Kaisel bothered to look down, he might have noticed a golden shimmer through the steam where Sol slumbered comfortably on the floor near the furnace. The dragon didn't stir with anything more than a blink heavy with sleep. Similarly taxed by a day of hard labor and training, Zavien and his companion had sought the refuge of the sauna to ease the tightness they could already feel growing, exhaustion pulling at their limbs.
The Dragoon sits at the far end, arms spread against the warm spruce of the bench in ripples of sweaty muscle. Bruises are starting to bloom across his arms and legs, products of practice swords as much as clumsiness. Dressed only in his towel, the scar across his flank is on full display, the skin stretching the mass of pink tissue that hadn't yet faded after a year of healing. There's a content grin on his face when he lifts his head from where he'd hung it back. His eyes flash in recognition, amused by the exaggerated appreciation from Kai. "Thanks. I was just getting ready to do that myself."
