If they could partially shift, the butcher would be ruffled quite often. So perhaps it’s for the best that they can’t. Beneath his lover’s hand against his chest, he’ll feel the soft inhale of a breath of relief, zero apprehension and plenty of want, such that when they part he catches the glance up the stairs with a knowing look. “Consider it a gift of the season.” He drawls, voice dropping as a small smirk blooms on his face, already taking the step away from the Maverick a touch reluctantly, keeping the shadows of his haunt swirling around him in the process. “Tonight, you get to decide everything.” His voice drops, tail swishing behind him in a way that has the ashen spaded tip brush against Danta’s leg as they make their departure – shooting a glance to the bartender as if to say you’ve got this and good luck.
