He’s glad that Danta lets himself surrender into his touch – craving the closeness and attention, the way he wants to feel each and every inch of him even if his tail abandons his leg to sweep across the blankets and furs of the bed. He pants to try and catch his breath once the kiss breaks, whispered against his lips before Danta’s pressing his forehead to his chest and Asta tilts his head up to not get his face scratched by the sharp prongs of Danta’s rainbow spiked horns. “I love you too.” He says with a laugh, agreeing as if the first time wasn’t enough.

He holds him and caresses him, granting him all of the attention he can muster as sleep tries to overtake him when he feels Danta move – a possessiveness having his arms twitch to keep him close before he surrenders – because it isn’t like the Maverick is going far away. He concedes for him to grab the tissues to clean up and helps where he can, before he’s tugging Danta with him to get under the blankets. “You do not have to suggest it twice.” He informs him a touch eagerly for the calling of the bed and his overwhelming exhaustion now. “Let me hold you, darling.” It sounds like a request but it’s anything but – a silent demand edged with a quiet neediness.
