His sled turned out to be a little too slick, the spirit obviously amused as he took off down the slope at a breakneck pace. He gripped onto the sides for dear life, his teeth chattering around the laughter that ripped from his chest. Deimos zoomed past like he did this for a living, followed closely by Sunjata, but Zavien didn't have time to admire their speed when his sled was threatening to come out from under him.
And then there were the attacks.
The unnatural heat was enough to warn him, quite certain there weren't warm gales in Deepfrost. That didn't mean he could do anything about it, definitely not without losing his balance and toppling into the snow, so he did the only thing he could: he leaned forward and hung on like his life depended on it (because it just might).
