Anytime her uncle mentioned Korofi, it sounded like an abject hellhole – which had Melita’s nose wrinkling too. Not asking how he’d managed to survive there, she’d heard a couple other stories, her eyes went towards the patrons walking in and out of the building, looking oh so serious, gaze rendered to their books and studies or on nothing at all. It wouldn’t take much to render these people either amused, surprised, or shocked; she wondered if they’d ever seen anything exciting in their lives (besides, y’know, towers always seeming to fall the fuck down).
She already had an idea forming, so when Sunjata asked, her smile brightened, beamed, a threat to anyone else around. “Do you think you could make it rain or snow…but like, inside?” Pointing towards the door, then making little finger movements with her hands to signify showers or droplets, she tilted her head, hoping to hear an earnest ‘yes’.
And then she could try it too.
