The butcher’s quite pleased with himself, if all honesty, as he watches the fireball land against the back of Zavien’s sled and sends him careening into gods knew where. And as if in better news, the butcher watches as Sunjata’s sled also goes careening, leaving him and Deimos to continue the race from this vantage point. Smug as can be, it’s when he spots the sudden lead of Damien – someone he doesn’t know or regonize – the butcher’s competitive nature returns tenfold.

Damien on the other hand is unknown and Asta, figuring that the first fireball had gone so well, has zero qualms sending another one out for the sled in first place. It erupts with heat as it leaves his hand, launching toward the sled with the same intent he had for Zavien’s sled.
