Wading through the beach with considerable effort, because the very elegant landing that Charlie pulled off definitely dumped some buckets of sand down his pants, Kaisel finds a spot tucked away enough to leave his bag. He left Charlie's side after unleashing her upon others at the beach, because much as he enjoyed his friend's company, he had a plan to execute.
He sheds most of his attire, thoroughly shaking each one out and making a grand face when the sand seems to just keep coming out of his shoes. He dips his shirt into the sea, the contact bursting into blue neon, and scrubs at some of the debris that pelted him while they flew, a few moth bodies crushed on his goggles. He shoves it all into the backpack, recognizing there'd be no hope of keeping it sand free without an added enchantment, not so long as here remained home (and even then, long after as well).
Through the dark he prowls, hunting down the queen of the beach on her driftwood throne. She's not difficult to find once he reorients himself, surrounded as she is with colored flame and lovely company, hard at work it'd seem. Bidding Spice to stay quiet with a finger held up to his lips, he emerges from the dark behind her in just his boxer briefs. His hands snake out to seize her, one cupping over her eyes and the other attempting to pin around her arms as he hauls her back against his chest. "Excuse me, but I must insist on taking her now," he murmurs with a flash of a smile as he attempts to drag her away with him.
