The Honeybee had rarely every schooled her features – very much an open book when it came to her emotions. But practice and growth had seen that she wasn’t laughing quite as loudly as she could, or giving everything away with gigantic grins. Just…hiding it, behind books. Even that was difficult, given the yelps and shocks rippling through the Collegium. At least it’d be something she could giggle and recall later, endlessly impressed and amused with her own antics.
Gods, then when they all went thundering into the icy pitch – it was a wonder she controlled herself at all. Threatening to barrel over with laughter, she turned around instead, pretending to glance out the window, like the culprits would be out there instead of unfolding in the bedlam around them. Melita snorted at the insinuation her uncle made though – there were likely many others, especially Abandoned, who had water (and by that standard…he could probably just blame them). “All right, think we've done enough then?” If they carried on too much longer, it’d likely give over into suspicion.
