Tryin' to wash away all the blood I've spilt
This lust is a burden that we both share

Frey's voice warbling out from the crimson waters overhead shouldn't have surprised Liam, but he started as rivulets began to warp and form into the shape of his chosen deity anyway. Recognizing the herald, Liam bowed his head reverently. "Thank you," he said, his deep voice a rumble against the trickling water above.
The pelts and blossoms rose into the air, weaving together into a garment that Liam could only describe as being better than he'd ever envisioned. While the magic of the deity worked, wildflowers began to spring up where Frey had spread the seeds that Liam had brought. The soldier watched, intrigued, and smiled at the mention of bees. "I do hope so," he replied, looking up just in time to see the mantle completed. It hovered nearby for him to take, and he did so gingerly, glancing at Frey as though unsure that they were really allowing him to take what he'd been working for for so long.
"Thank you, Frey," he said as his fingers brushed the garment, wrapping in the folds and picking it up as though from some invisible coat rack. "This is... it's perfect." Looking at the herald, he added, "Is there anything else I can do for you?" He wasn't sure what he could do for a god, but never let it be said that he didn't offer.
