He shrugs, rolling the glass between his fingers. "I’ll let you know how it goes, assumin’ they don’t make me sign some loyalty pact to Dygra just to walk through the door." The remark carries a dry lift of humour, though there’s enough truth in it to make him sound wary. He leans back, letting the chair tilt on two legs for a heartbeat before it settles again, his shadows twitching faintly at his feet like an idle habit.
"So," he drawls, gaze flicking back toward Jack. "How’re the girls? Heard they’re plannin’ on openin’ a café."
