To Danta’s soft voice despite the roughness and with the smile he can hear in it, the butcher chuckles a breathy and relieved sound. “Good. It is impossible to get rid of.” He hums as he scoops him up, carrying him over to the bed to set him in the comfort of it so he doesn’t have to worry about mundane things like standing.
It doesn’t take long for him to return with all the items needed, tail flicking against the covers as he peers down at his lover as he removes his hand and he takes in the blood slowly drying to his chest and the wounds that haven’t quite clotted just yet. The hot rag rises immediately to clean the worst bite first – the one where he can count each sharp tooth that resides in his mouth – swiping away the stickiness of the blood and his spit.
He takes the moment to look over at Danta with a small smirk tugging on his face, stained bloodred. “Mm, I think you will, provided you stop getting into battles with saws.” He tuts, tongue clicking before the announcement breaks with the soft chuckle that leaves him (because obviously that won’t happen). “Lifestyle changes can be difficult, however.” He continues to boast, dipping the cloth in the hot water, wringing it out, and placing it on the lesser of the wounds to clean it up too – at least so he can ensure they’re clean before he bandages them.
