The breeze stirred her pinned-up hair, and she tucked a loose strand behind her ear. It wasn't that she didn't want to share - it was more that she didn't want to be a burden. This was her best friend's boyfriend, who happened to be the cousin of the guy who ghosted her. Things were a little... weird.
But he surprised her by offering some sage wisdom, and Soh frowned at his back as she listened - not because she was upset by it, but because he actually had some good points.
