Having been thoroughly enjoying himself eavesdropping and drinking, as Kai and Flora enter the dining room - and no one is even covered in blood - Mateo greets them with a broad and dimpled grin. He’s set the table (you’re welcome, Remi) and lit an over-abundance of candles, but if anyone asks about it he’ll blame it entirely on the spirits of the house.
