Marcus and Amhran ‘s efforts of assurance and youthful platitudes stroke a chord as well, and before long the formation seemed to settle, not unlike a long, deep breath, a singular sigh. “Good work,” Deimos called ahead, watching as each luxere seemed to maneuver more into a peaceful existence; gentle, unbothered by the stretch now. Some nibbled at Amhran’s fingers for more carrots, others shared the portions of hay, and the ones in the back seemed to hasten forward, eased by the potential of roaming their way towards more food.
Thus, the Raeling led the way, deeper into the cluster of the Hollowed Forest.
