It had consumed her, taking over her goals and desires, until all she could see was the end result where she was the Heart and Stormbreak was her home and there was no other option. But before she could formulate any kind of answer, Kai was pressing her for more information, and his question struck her dumb.

The fact that she couldn't answer right away was probably more telling than anything she could have said. "I - I don't -" she spluttered, looking for all the world like a deer in the headlights. "I... draw maps really well?" It came out as a question, but it was an answer nonetheless, and strangely enough, Soh found herself hoping for approval, suddenly being steered in a strange conversation she'd never expected.
