Arm linked with Vesper's, Nova arrives back in a wave of color. She doesn't let the weight of recent news dim her sparkle; in fact, she brightens even more like it might fight away the uncertainties, like she can force the world to be just the way she wants it, like she'd relish the chance to see it try fighting back.
Flashing a blinding grin at Jack and Calypso, she waits excitedly for their answer, her thoughts running at such a high frequency that they might drown out any negativity. It only stutters when Caly says no, disrupting the growing anticipation for the balloon ride. Her fingers tighten on Vesper's arm, smile pinching around the eyes to disguise the disappointment at not going together. "Oh, well, Vespy or I can always catch us with magic, and we have wings, so I'm sure it'll be fine!"
