"If you smelled I wouldn't even be asking, I'd already have the water running," he informs with a whisper of a smile as his hands finish stroking over her shoulders, leaving the delicate fabric to her finishing touches. Ordinarily he might've hucked them at Flora, a perhaps predictable routine for some evenings, but she needs all the strength she can get right now so letting down leech it away with a solid strike to the head seems like a bad call. Instead he works on yanking up the covers, creating a flap for her to slide into and join him beneath the protective layer of bed sheets where the world must keep itself at bay for a few hours. "C'mon babygirl, you're littlespoon." he says, patting the open spot as if she needs coaxing.
