Nodding softly as Danta leeches heat from him, it’s the comment of the blood trail that he notes Danta glances down at his arm where the bandages sit – almost as if recalling the fact he’d left the trail in his attempt to get here. He imagines it isn’t that much of a surprise that he’d forgotten it, the worry that he hopes he’s alleviated had been at the forefront of his lover’s mind, after all. He’d forget about his trek to his own office if the roles were reversed.

For now, though, he hums a warm laugh. “Oh they absolutely did.” His voice drops a little more playfully deep, conniving and conspiring in a way that’s certainly a highlight of his day. Tilting his chin down to meet the glittering blues of his lover’s face, the butcher’s tail squeezes his Theocrat’s leg gently. “I was not busy, darling. Tinkering in my old room with things I can most certainly put on pause for mimosas.” He looks forward to it, actually.

Not looking forward to parting from Danta immediately, though, the butcher prolongs it out a touch before he’s tugging Danta down from his desk, flashing a wink at him as he takes a sip of the vodka to get their evening started, and gets onto the search of finding a clean shirt for the other Ancient before their evening can truly begin.
