Days pass and Nova begins to lose her interest in the work. It's days after days after days of nothing but riding, and she's more than a little tempted to fly away to escape the boring monotony of it all. Her butt hurts and though she entertains herself with magic and conversations with Custard, it's hard to stay the path. Only the prospect of an end keeps her going, and when Colt calls for the last push, Nova might be a littler more than eager.
On the edge of her patience (which she has very little to begin with), the cow who stands its ground against her is in for a treat. Mouth, jaw, and vocals shift, widening her features to something more animal than human. She rushes Custard forward as a pitching growl rips from her, daring the cow to challenge her again, to force her hand, to give her something interesting to do after too many stagnant days.
Nova partially shifts to her tide jaguar and growls to scare the cow into joining the others.
