ISLA
"You know, you're completely right. And it's your job as my friend to validate me anyway, so I appreciate your dedication to the role." Grinning, Isla raises her teacup in a small toast, before refilling it from the pot and stirring in a little more honey. "I was considering that we might need to find somewhere else to live," she continues conversationally. "The apartment above the clinic is perfect for work, but it isn't exactly a family home." Then again, there are much worse places to raise a child, so maybe the Remedy is just letting her imagination run rampant about it. "What do you think?"
Her eyebrows raise in unexpected realisation as Remi remarks about the little sprout they're tending to out in King's End, and Isla's laughter is surprised but kind. "That's kind of exciting, isn't it?" She beams. "You get to do all those things together for the first time, even though you've been together for over a decade. You can make a nursery, pick out baby clothes, choose toys... gods, I suppose you won't even know what you're having until they... bloom?"
