"Banshee hunt?" he repeats, a touch bewildered. Any thoughts immediately after are drawn back to focusing on the balancing act of bottles of rum and a platter of artichokes arranged like a forest with various flavors of aioli in dishes blooming between them. Iskra might not be the best cook, but he's got an eye for design, and artichokes he's mostly got down to a science now, plus the aiolis do most of the legwork in flavor and those he gets from the market. Fitted in a change of clothes to handle the heat after leaving Halo, having swapped on the ride over here, Iskra is in nice slack-style, khaki shorts and a Hawaiian shirt that's sporting an extreme amount of palm trees on its. The top buttons are open, leaving the collar open to the green tank-top he's got on underneath. His flip-flops are unremarkable, but his palm-tree decorated shades seal the look, as does the tiny drink umbrella that's stuffed behind one ear with a bright yellow top.
He's recovered just in time to beam out a smile as Mel announces their arrival, gaze darting to her with a firm nod to her question. "Ready," he reassures, and swallows down anything that might be otherwise just before Sunjata's door swings open. Admittedly, packing up for a family dinner at a renowned brothel is a new one for him, as is all of this really, so it's at least comforting that he's met Sunjata a few times now to ease into that aspect of all the other weirdness. Although, this will be the first time that he's come to Sunjata as more than just an acquaintance of Mel's, and there's a certain weight of expectation to not fuck this up that drags on his chest with every breath.
Still, as the Flood greets them, Iskra raises up his handful with an ease that betrays the unrest inside him and grins wider. "Heeeey, Sunjata! Good to see you again, thanks for having us." He sweeps in behind Mel and the creatures, his own chaos dog left home, knowing that he doesn't need an added level of worry that Goose is bound to deliver. Good thing too, because the dog would surely be shrinking from the panther and liable to steal food off their trays.
There's a familiar strain to Sunjata's features that Iskra clocks as he steps in and sets down his rum and artichokes, but he doesn't let his gaze linger on the dark circles. Instead, he glances around the unique setting of the room, taking it with impressed brows. "I've yet to see these rooms," Iskra remarks with a curious tinge, walking up to touch one of the scenic walls gently. "You made these, right?" he glances Sunjata's way.
